For the last 12 years I have been managing a team of business analysts, data analysts, and product owners delivering industry leading automation capabilities to streamline underwriting and fulfillment processes for Bank of America Consumer Credit. Using a combination of vendor data via APIs, on-us data, and OCR'd data from customer supplied documents, I have automated document collection for income and assets leading to over 50% auto-receipt of conditions. 

My team conducted multi-year data studies and worked with Freddie Mac on developing the model used for calculation of income using payroll direct deposits. We ultimately deployed a proprietary model in 2018 instead of using Freddie's AIM product. 

I led the integration of vendor data for verification of income to auto-populate the application for the borrower and automate the calculation of income, eventually leading to a rule driven solution to auto-clear W2 and paystub conditions. 

In 2020 we began our OCR initiatives and I led a multi-year project to extract data from income and asset documents using our deep learning model. After significant amount of testing, and negotiations with credit risk partners, I was able to bring that project across the finish line to automate the full underwrite of wage earners using OCR'd data from documents so that underwriters did not need to review the documentation. 

I continue to take the lead on developing our roadmap for digital transformation. Most recently I have initiated a GenAI POC for an internal policy chatbot and have my team working through requirements for a virtual loan assistant. 

I sit at the intersection of the business, technology, policy, and data to identify opportunities and deliver solutions. I am currently focused on deliverying solutions using GenAI and am excited to drive operational excellence with these new and advancing technologies.
